  It was raining when I came to the Shinsekai area. There’s a monkey statue at the entrance of a popular restaurant that serves fried skewers, and the place was really bustling.
  
  I decided to go in and try okonomiyaki and fried skewers. The overall vibe of the restaurant was really nice and totally local. It was filled mostly with locals having their meals, and I really enjoyed dining here.
  
  Right outside the shop is a well-known Lawson convenience store. I bought an ice cream there and had it while relaxing, making the whole experience really pleasant.

  Decent Kushikatsu place. Good standard. Only reason it loses a star is because I’ve been to places with more variety of skewers you can order. But this place still has quite a good amount of options.

  Totally awesome place for holidays.
  I recommend don’t forget oysters and asparagus to order.
